Payment
Payments are gladly accepted via PayPal in US dollars only; you do not need a PayPal account to make a purchase with your credit card.
California orders are subject to state sales tax.
Please email me if you would like to inquire about using another form of payment.
Shipping
Shipping is to the US, Canada, Australia, and the UK. Please email me if you would like to inquire about international shipping to other countries. Buyers are responsible for all customs, duties, taxes, brokerage, and importing fees of their home country.
Shipping is NOT calculated at checkout. Shipping charges are figured manually and you will receive a separate PayPal invoice for the actual shipping charges. Due to variations based on weight and distance, this is the fairest way to charge for shipping rather than charging a flat rate. Items are shipped via USPS within three business days of payment. If shipping weight is 13oz or less (or whatever is required by international regulations) your package will be delivered First Class. Heavier shipments are mailed Priority Mail or Priority Mail Flat Rate and always with delivery confirmation.
Items will ship to the address listed on Paypal so please make sure that your Paypal shipping address is correct during checkout as I am unable to do anything after the package had shipped. I would be happy to ship your items to someone else, simply enter their address during checkout.
Free local pickup/delivery is available in the greater Redding, California, Eastern Shasta County area, USA.
To reduce the impact on the environment recycled shipping materials are used whenever possible.
Please be advised that some items, such as lip balms and skin salves, are made with heat sensitive ingredients and may soften in warm weather. This will not damage the product; simply place it in the refrigerator in an upright position until firm (do not place in the freezer).
You deserve a smooth and friendly transaction and I will work with you to ensure your satisfaction. I will do my best to resolve any shipping or order discrepancies immediately.
Refunds and Exchanges
I am certain you will be pleased with your selection. Due to the unique characteristics of natural ingredients and the distinctive differences of individually handcrafted items, please allow for slight variations in color, viscosity and scent of products from batch to batch. This is how you know you have a truly handmade product.
Because of the personal nature of skincare products, for hygienic reasons, and to ensure the purity of our products, returns cannot be accepted. All sales are final.
Damages and Shortages
All damaged and missing items claims must be made within 48 hours of receipt of your package. Please email naomi@mountaingirlsoap.com or call 530-604-4917 regarding any damaged or missing items issues. After 48 hours Mountain Girl Soap & Sundries will assume the order was accurately fulfilled.
Products will be replaced, not refunded, if there is a shipping error on my part, or there is damage during shipping.
