My name is Naomi and I am an artisan soap maker dedicated to the art and tradition of cold-processed handmade soap. My modest soap studio is located on a ranch in Northern California nestled between the Cascades and the Sierra Nevada.

Living close to nature has given me a personal awareness of how intricately we are connected to our environment, and has taught me that living in harmony with nature's laws is the best possible way to achieve well-being. The soap and body products I make reflect that same approach.

The name 'Mountain Girl' was inspired by real women. The name embodies the spirit of women who are strong, Earth wise, and who nuture the connective relationship between the mind, body, spirit, and environment.
