Nature's cleaning tool, pumice, is the time honored way to file away foot calluses and exfoliate and slough away dead skin. This is not your store-bought pumice that is reconstituted – going through an intense energy-guzzling manufacturing process where the natural stone is ground into powder, bleached, mixed with glue and other additives, and then injected into molds – a product that not only has a high carbon footprint, but is less durable and has less filing action.

This is the real thing...ancient volcanic magma. True grit! Our pumice is sustainably harvested by hand in small amounts from the foothills and creek beds around Mt Shasta, California. Using genuine pumice stone gives you a deeper connection to the Earth, and in its natural state is durable and will last for years. Created by nature, each stone is unique and naturally rounded. Stones vary from 1.5-2.0oz (28-56g)in weight.

This dandy little hand and nail brush is made of Tampico fiber which comes from a plant unique to the semi-desert area of Northern Mexico, the Agave Lechugillaâ. Tampico fiber has a very fine, delicate and smooth texture, but is very resistant and keeps its qualities and smoothness over time. Perfect for cleaning hard working hands and nails. Approximately 4 3/4" x 1". Handle is made from hardwood that has been smooth sanded and waxed. All-natural plant fiber bristles. Vegan.

A very sweet person had a wonderful idea for my soap pouches; she bought a couple for a friend of hers that has Muscular Dystrophy. When you insert the soap into the pouch it acts as a washcloth and soap all-in-one, and therefore aids coordination so one is not juggling both.
